Our Compliance Framework
UK Avionics operates under a comprehensive legal and compliance framework that governs every transaction, supplier relationship and shipment. As a UK-headquartered defence supply chain partner working with government procurement agencies and prime contractors, we maintain the documentation, controls and processes required to handle sensitive defence components responsibly.
UK Export Control
All international transactions are managed under the UK Export Control Order 2008 and subsequent amendments. We hold the necessary Standard Individual Export Licences (SIELs) and Open General Export Licences (OGELs) appropriate to the goods and destinations we serve. End-user undertakings, end-use statements and end-user certificates are collected and verified before any controlled item is despatched.
Defence Regulations
- UK MOD Defence Standards (DEF STAN) where applicable
- NATO supplier and contractor coding (NSCM / CAGE)
- JOSCAR registration — vetted defence and aerospace supplier
- ITAR awareness for US-controlled components
- EU Dual-Use Regulation (EU 2021/821) compliance
Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption & Sanctions
We operate a zero-tolerance policy on bribery and corruption in line with the UK Bribery Act 2010. All staff and partners are trained on identifying improper inducements and reporting them through our internal compliance channel. We screen all customers, suppliers and end-users against UK, EU, US OFAC and UN sanctions lists before onboarding and at regular intervals.
Contractual Framework
Customer contracts are governed by English law and incorporate the relevant defence supply terms, including DEFCONs where contracting with UK MOD or via prime contractors. Standard quotations and orders are subject to our published Terms & Conditions of Sale; full copies are available on request.
Reporting Concerns
